Welcome to Morocco!  We will pick you up from the Casablanca airport upon your arrival and start Casablanca city tour.<\/p>\n

We will start our Casablanca tour by visiting various places like the March\u00e9 Centrale (the central market).  The highlight of our Casablanca tour will no doubt be the visit of the majestic Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Africa that is located by the Atlantic Ocean.  Unlike most mosques in Morocco, Hassan II Mosque allows visitors of all faith an opportunity to enter and visit respectfully.  Admire the intricate architecture, watch the sunlight stream in through the windows and feel the sense of peace within.

After the city tour, we will drive you to the hotel.  During the hotel transfer, we will update you on your upcoming trip activities.  You will then have the rest of the day free to explore at your own leisure or rest.<\/p>\n

In the morning, we will set off on a walking tour of Chefchaouen to explore the beautiful blue washed town.\u00a0 During the tour, we will also pass by various sights and architecture, such as the Grande Mosque \u2013 built for Moulay Abdeslam Ben Mchich Alami, the son of the city\u2019s founder and the ruins of the Spanish Mosque.<\/p>

After lunch we will drive to Meknes, then head to the UNESCO World Heritage site at Volubilis, where the best preserved Roman archaeological site in Morocco is located.\u00a0 Look out for the remains of the mosaics and imagine the glorious Roman past as you walk through the site.<\/p>

Thereafter, we continue to make our way to Fes where we will stay overnight.<\/p>

Today we will spend the day exploring the city of Fes.\u00a0 The highlight of our Fes visit will undoubtedly be our walking tour of the UNESCO World Heritage Site \u2013 the Medina of Fes, which is still very much an integral part of the everyday life of the people of Fes.\u00a0 You will be guided through the maze of narrow walkways and alleys with shops on both sides, ranging from fruit sellers to barber shops and many more.\u00a0 You may even run into a donkey or two going about their goods delivery rounds as you navigate your way through the Medina!<\/p>

After lunch at a traditional restaurant in the medina, we will cross under the elaborate Bab Bou Jeloud (the Blue Gate) to visit Fes el-Jdid or New Fes, which was established in 1276 by the Marinid dynasty.<\/p>

As part of the walking tour, we will also visit the leather tanneries of Fes, learn more about the traditional treatment and dyeing process which have been passed down for centuries.\u00a0 Other stops of interest within the Medina include the Bou Inania Madrasa, where you can admire the beautiful Marinid architecture of the building and its minaret, the Dar Batha Museum, which is housed in the former summer Batha Palace, as well as the Jewish quarter of Bab Mellah, which offers a glimpse into the life of the Jewish people.<\/p>

In the morning we will make our way towards Merzouga, the gateway to Erg Chebbi where the fiery orange sand dunes of the Sahara Desert await.  We will make a stop at Ifrane to experience the Moroccan Switzerland before continuing to make our way through the Middle Atlas Mountains.  We will drive through the cedar forest of Azrou and stop to play with the friendly Barbary Apes before arriving at the mineral mining town of Midelt for lunch.<\/p>\n

After lunch, we head to Merzouga.  Upon arrival, we will store our luggage and leave our modern transport to become true explorers traversing the Erg Chebbi sand dunes on camel backs to arrive at our campsite.  Here, we will sit on the sand dunes to admire the beautiful sunset \u2013 but this is not yet the end as the night is about to begin.<\/p>\n

At night, we will enjoy dinner at our campsite by the fire with drumming music, songs, laughter, and most of all, be mesmerized by the stars before retiring for the night in your Berber tent.<\/p>\n

Wake up an hour early to live an hour more \u2013 we encourage you to rise early to witness sunrise over the Sahara and welcome a new day of adventure.<\/p>\n

After breakfast, we will depart from the desert on our camels and return to the hotel at Merzouga for a shower.  We then make our way to Rissani to visit the souk (market) to see what it has to offer, from carpets to leatherware and even fossils!<\/p>\n

After the souk visit, we continue our drive through the Tafilalet region, the largest Saharan oasis of Morocco.  We will explore the Todra Gorge on foot after lunch, which is known to be one of the most spectacular canyons around the world.  We then make our way to the Dades Valley, where the landscape is filled with unique rock formation.<\/p>\n

In the morning, we travel through the Rose Valley to Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that has been the filming backdrop for Hollywood movies such as Gladiator, which won the Academy Award for Best Picture once, and the fantasy TV series Game of Thrones.  After the visit, we proceed to lunch before resuming our journey towards Marrakech.<\/p>\n

From Ouarzazate, we return to Marrakech via the High Atlas Mountains and the spectacular Tizi n Tichka pass, marvel at the stunning landscape of rugged beauty and the picturesque Berber villages.  On arrival at Marrakech, we will drop you off at your hotel.<\/p>\n

Today, you will wake up early morning to meet your local guide to explore the city of Marrakech.  We will stop by must-see sites such as Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, and Majorelle Garden to learn more about the history, significance, and architecture of these places.<\/p>\n

In the afternoon, we head to the famous Jemaa El-Fna square and the medina, where you will have time to browse through handcrafted souvenirs.  By the evening, our tour in Marrakech will finish, we then drive to Casablanca and stay overnight at Casablanca.<\/p>\n
