Day 1: Marrakech
Welcome to Marrakech!
Our driver will welcome you at the airport and take you to your hotel. After settling in at the hotel, you will have the option of some free time to explore or rest to get ready for the trip.

Day 2: Marrakech – Dades Valley
After breakfast, we drive to the Dades Valley. On the way, we will pass through the Atlas Mountains at an altitude of about 2,260 meters (about 7,415 feet) along the road winding through rolling valleys and steep peaks. Along the way, we will take some breaks to admire the unique terrain and peculiar mountain landscapes of the Atlas Mountains.
At noon, we will visit the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, known as the “most beautiful village in Morocco”. This fortified village, which is still the best preserved in Morocco, is a typical pre-Saharan settlement. The village was built with terracotta mud bricks, a Moroccan specialty. The bright red houses give the village an unreal yet real feeling.
This ancient city is not only one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, but also a location for many famous movies and TV series, including Game of Thrones, Gladiator and Jewel of the Nile.
After lunch we continue to the Dades Valley. In the evening, we will have dinner and spend the night at a riad. Riad, an Arabic word that means “gardens”, nowadays is usually a traditional guesthouse constructed around one central courtyard.

Day 3: Dades Gorge – Sahara Desert
After breakfast at the hotel, we drive to Merzouga, the “Gateway to the Sahara Desert”. Along the way we will stop and hike Todra Godges which are a series of limestone river canyons. In some places the canyon is as little as 10 meters (33 feet) wide, the walls are more than 300 meters (1,000+ feet) high. Todra Godge is a popular rock-climbing destination for rock climbers.
After enjoying canyon’s steep brownish-red color and cool breeze, we continue to Merzouga and enter the Sahara Desert (please wear sunscreens and sunglasses) to experience the thrill and excitement of desert sand-boarding.
The Sahara here is famous for its sand dunes of various shapes and sizes. The dunes will show different colors such as gold and pink as the natural light changes. Upon arrival in the desert, we will take a camel ride into the desert and watch the sunset.

Day 4: Sahara Desert – Fes
Wake up an hour early to live an hour more – we encourage you to rise early to witness sunrise over the Sahara and welcome a new day of adventure.
After breakfast, we will depart from the desert on our camels, meet our driver, then head out towards Fes.
Along the way, we will make a stop at Ifrane to experience the “Little Switzerland of Morocco”. Strolling through the tree-lined streets, admiring the exquisite European-style buildings and well-maintained lawns, will make you feel you were in a European Alpine village.
Thereafter, we continue to make our way to Fes and will have dinner at the hotel on arrival.

Day 5: Fes – Chefchaouen
After breakfast, we will visit the ancient city of Fes, which is rated as one of the top ten most romantic cities in the world by Traveler, a famous American travel magazine. As the first of the four ancient cities in Morocco, Fes has been the center of religion, culture and art in Morocco for more than a thousand years.
Today we will visit the Al-Attarine Madrasa in the medieval old town, the Bou Inania Madrasa – one of the best-preserved Quranic schools in Fes, the Funduq al-Najjarin, the Mausoleum of Moulay Idris Zaouia, the exterior of University of al-Qarawiyyin – the world’s oldest university, the gates of the Kairouan Mosque – a United Nations protected cultural relic, the almost 1,000 years old tannery and the Blue Gate of Bab Boujeloud. The Old City is dotted with world-famous handicraft workshops, including copper ware, carpet and dyeing workshops, etc.
After lunch in the old town of Fes, we will visit the ancient Roman North African ruins Volubilis. It is home to the well-preserved triumphal arch and the white stone columns of the theater.
After the Volubilis visit, we head on to Chefchaouen, the blue pearl of Morocco that nestles in the Rif mountains. We will have dinner and stay overnight at Chefchaouen.

Day 6: Chefchaouen – Casablanca
After breakfast at the hotel, we will take a walking tour of Chefchaouen. This charming blue town is built on a hill, and almost all the houses and even some of the paths in the town are painted blue.
Walking along the main square (Plaza Uta el-Hammam) and stepping on the irregular cobblestone pavement will make you feel like you were in a different world. The castle with mottled signs on the square, surrounded by red walls, and the eye-catching Grand Mosque are a magnet for pilgrimage and worship.
After lunch we drive to Casablanca, where we will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 7: Casablanca – Marrakech
After breakfast, we will visit Mohammed V Square and Hassan II Mosque.
The Hassan II Mosque is located in the northwest of Casablanca, with a construction area of 20,000 square meters (over 215,000 square feet), one-third of which is built on the sea to commemorate the arrival of Morocco’s Arab ancestors from the sea.
As the largest mosque in Africa, the worship hall and plaza of the Hassan II Mosque can accommodate more than 100,000 people praying at the same time. Unlike other Moroccan mosques, the Hassan II Mosque allows tourists to enter and visit.
After visiting Casablanca, we set off for Marrakech.

Day 8: Marrakech
After breakfast, we will visit Marrakech, one of the famous ancient capitals of Morocco. Known as the “Pearl of the South”, this ancient city is the fourth largest city in Morocco and is famous for its exotic architecture and bustling markets.
We begin with a visit to the exterior of the Koutoubia Mosque, the Jardin Majorelle, which is the former residence of famous designer Yves Saint Laurent, and the Bahia Palace, one of the few well-preserved royal palaces open to the public in Morocco.
Afterwards we go to the “Sleepless Square”, the Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, and the grand souk (market) of the Old City to experience the bustling atmosphere of the market.
After Marrakech city tour, we will transfer you to the airport, where we bid you farewell and hope we will have the opportunity again to show you more of Morocco the next time.
